You never know where you’re going to find an interesting artist. Over the weekend I went to visit my great grandfather in the hospice home he was in, and as I was walking around the halls I saw a series by Bonnie Jones. Her art is staged but extremely creative. There was a particular piece that really caught my eye. It was of an army uniform and a military journal. In each of her works she places real journals that she has bought from garage sales or antique stores and tells their story in the photo. Each of her photos in the hall were on sale for $350 a piece.
