I did this to my Canon Powershot at the beginning of the school year. I’ve had some fun making time-lapse sequences. There are lots of scripts for all kinds of things, like really slow, or really fast shutter speeds, and motion detection, and even a lightning detection script. It works for many different cameras and is a great way to be able to take RAW images with a point and shoot.
