“Dear Project ZeNETH team:
Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that the Project ZeNETH Sustainable Action Fund large grant proposal has been approved for funding in the amount of $57,501. This award is based on our assessment that our proposal represents a valuable, implementable concept that will benefit Western’s sustainability.” |
Wow, I am so proud of our team, and so thankful to the SAF committee for coming through for us at the last minute. This really was the final opportunity before the end of the school year for our funding to be approved, and now we can move forward with our momentum into next year.
I think it’s high time that we take an evening off from tiny house talk and kick back. But first, I must say thanks to everyone on the ZeNETH team, our advisers at the Institute for Energy Studies (Gail Cowan, Prof Imran Sheikh, Prof Charlie Barnhart, Prof Joel Swisher) , the Office of Sustainability (Seth Vidana, Johnathan Riopelle, Kate Rayner Fried, Spiro Pappas), the Port of Bellingham (Terry Ilahi) our stakeholders who have already provided us approvals (Francis Halle of Space Administration, Peter Morgan of BTC) and the many others who have supported us thus far (Scott Dorough, Rick Benner, Paul Mueller, John Kingsford-Smith, Nicole Hoekstra, Tammi Laninga, Rick Sepler, Nicolas Zaferatos).
With so much work left to do, we are thankful we are not going it alone.
Thank you,
Kellen
