The Soil Ecology Lab is always looking for motivated undergraduate researchers!

We rely on both short and long term help from undergraduate students. Most students are volunteers in the lab, but we also have had paid work-study positions.

• Short term: We need extra help when we are setting up or harvesting experiments. These experiences require a commitment of 5+ hours per week, but typically they only last for 1-3 weeks.
• Long term: If you are interested in a more significant research commitment, consider applying for one of WWU’s Research and Creative Opportunities for Undergraduates Grants. These experiences tend to last 2-4 quarters with weekly work commitments varying from 3-10+ hours per week.
