What is the Western Front?

The Western Front is Western’s official newspaper run by students, covering local news, sports, opinions, and national stories as it affects the community and Western students.

Western Front is published twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Thursday’s edition features upcoming community events and businesses, centered around a different theme each week.

 What is the Planet Magazine? 

The Planet Magazine is Western’s student-run environmental magazine that focuses on environmental issues all around the world, with each edition centered around a different theme.

The Planet is published quarterly at the end of each quarter in the second-to-last week of the quarter.

What is the Klipsun Magazine?

Klipsun Magazine is an independent student publication at Western; each edition includes feature stories, multimedia, and issues affecting the lives of people in the Pacific Northwest.

Klipsun is published quarterly at the beginning of each quarter in the first week.

What is Occam’s Razor?

Occam’s Razor is Western’s academic publication written by and for students. OR accepts submissions from WWU undergraduates of all disciplines. Every piece in Occam’s Razor is thoughtfully written and heavily researched, with topics originating from the STEM fields, social sciences, and humanities.

Occam’s Razor is published annually, at the end of the year during Spring Quarter.

What is Jeopardy?

Jeopardy is Western’s student-run academic publication that receives submissions from Western students, alumni, and faculty. Every piece in Jeopardy features artistic and creative literary pieces from students, ranging from art work, to poetry, to scripts, to short stories, and the like.

Jeopardy is published annually, at the end of year during Spring Quarter.
