Nooksack Middle Fork by Claude Zervas

TheĀ Nooksack Middle Fork, located in the Performing Arts Center at Western Washington University, is a sculpture that incorporates t.v. screens and videos of the Nooksack River. The four screens together create an asymmetrical circular river flowing endlessly which elicits a sense of calm from the viewer. This video gives background on the sculpture and Zervas’s life and the reactions of Western students to the piece.
