  • Deep-sea ecology: Developmental, larval, & community ecology at hydrothermal vents & cold seeps
  • Developmental ecology: microbial-invertebrate interactions, induction of metamorphosis, developmental transcriptomics, larval stress and latent effects
  • Community dynamics: Pre- and post-settlement factors affecting recruitment, physiological ecology, reproductive biology
