I believe that questioning is where opinions and beliefs are formed. And to question, something confusing needs to happen to lead to the questioning. And to be confused is where juxtaposition comes into play. On the laptop is Mortal Kombat: a notoriously violent video game. Something we usually think of when we think of video games. However, with the pink frilly nails holding onto the controllers and the non-violent game sounds (from BOTW and Animal Crossing), the audience is then shown a different side to games. They are shown the juxtaposition that exists within games. And I hope to have the audience reconsider what they picture games as when they look at this art piece.
