  • Describe and define Energy Literacy.
  • Identify 1 or more Essential Principles and Fundamental Concepts from the Energy Literacy Framework (ELF).
  • Relate Energy Literacy principles to lessons, standards, or goals.

Introduction

In this module, we’ll build a case for energy education through a collective brainstorm about energy literacy, and explore the primary text for this course, Fueling Our Future: Exploring Sustainable Energy Use. Participants will review resources related to energy literacy and consider connections that exist with their current curriculum and standards.
