Washington Student Association
The Washington Student Association represents 130,000 graduate and undergraduate students in the State of Washington. As the biggest stakeholders of higher education system, we work with twelve four-year universities to build a more affordable, accessible and quality system of higher education for all students. The Washington Student Association recently approved an amendment to their board governance structure, incorporating a new position which will specifically focus on Graduate Student Affairs.

National Association of Graduate-Professional Students
The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS) is a student-run national, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of graduate & professional students across the United States. Founded by student leaders in 1987, NAGPS is the only national organization that represents the interests of graduate & professional students in public and private universities at local, state, regional and national levels.
Washington Federation Chair: Anna Schorr
The Legislature created the Washington Student Achievement Council in July 2012 (RCW 28B.77). By statute, the Council provides strategic planning, oversight, advocacy, and programs to support increased student success and higher levels of educational attainment in Washington.
