Kayzo and Subtronics Tease New Single “Braincase”

Two of EDM’s hottest producers teamed up to create a unique blend of genres known as “Braincase”. Kayzo and Subtronics have each had a huge year, going on headline tours of their own as well as having their tracks played out by dubstep superstars like Excision. As fans of both producers, this was a collaboration that I never could have anticipated. Kayzo is well known for blending pop punk influenced sounds with up tempo hardstyle bass lines. Subtronics on the other hand is known for his “riddim” influenced sounds, displaying plenty of chopping and double drops in his sets. However, the two started premiering their new collab in live sets as early as a few months ago. In my opinion, it seems to be exactly what you would love to see a Kayzo and Subtronics collaboration be. The song seems to transition seamlessly from bouncy hardstyle into a heavy dubstep drop that is sure to make headbangers across the country excited. The track will be independently released on December 4th, so we don’t have too much longer to wait to get the full experience of this track. I can’t wait to see what these two have in store for the future.  Over the past year Kayzo has worked with Of Mice & Men, Travis Barker, and blessthefall. I am sure he has big plans in store for 2020 to continue to push his signature rock influenced sound. Subtronics continues to excel into the dubstep mainstream as well, as his Cyclops Army Facebook group recently passed 30k fans. He has even hinted at the possibility of throwing his own music festival in the future. Regardless, to say I am excited to see these two work together is an understatement. As 2019 winds down, this is the perfect cap to the year and I can’t wait to see these producers continue to kill it in years to come.
