Hi everyone,
My name is Igor, I am an international student from Brazil and the Vice President for WWU’s National Society of Leadership and Success. I also work as a Student Ambassador for Western. My major is International Business Administration with a double minor in Communication Studies and Economics. My hobbies include meeting new people, networking, listening to music, watching movies, and playing many sports (i.e. ultimate frisbee, soccer, basketball and volleyball).
If you see me around campus (once it is open), do not hesitate to say hi! 🙂
Name: Eva Copley
Position: Co-President Â
Major: Psychology
Minor: Sociology
I am a third year at Western, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. I am very passionate about helping and promoting well-being in others. I am currently working part-time as a Personal Care Aide and feel so rewarded in that position. Following Western, I hope to attend graduate school to pursue a degree in clinical psychology.
I grew up in a small, Colorado ski town where I learned my great love and appreciation of the outdoors. Outside of school, I especially love to mountain bike, ski, run, knit, and practice yoga/meditation.
I joined NSLS as an opportunity to expand upon my leadership skills and to meet new people at Western. I loved the community of NSLS and decided to get more involved by joining the executive board as the Inducted Members Chair. I am now the Co-President and am excited to hold this position and continue to grow our chapter!
If you ever see me around, don’t hesitate to stop and say hello!! 🙂
Name: Liliana Hart-Beck (she/her)
Position: Secretary
Major: Environmental Science and Chinese Language
I am a Chinese adoptee from Winthrop, Washington who likes to cook, bake, run and hike when I am not buried under a mountain of assignments. I joined NSLS because of what it stood for, it wasn’t just the usual collegiate honor society that you see or hear about. NSLS accepts people from all walks of life and focuses on building people to be fully functioning members of society with valuable leadership skills that can be applied in the workplace or in everyday life.
Position: SNT Coordinator Â
Major: Recreation Management and Leadership with a Therapeutic Recreation focus Â
Minor: Leadership StudiesÂ
This is my third year at Western, and I am happier than ever to spend my college years in Bellingham. I was born and raised in a small ski town in Colorado. Outside of school, I enjoy spending my time outside skiing, biking, writing haikus and fishing. I also enjoy promoting gender equality in the outdoors.
I decided to join NSLS to get a fresh perspective of leadership and I have grown exponentially as a leader.
NSLS has given me opportunities to hear the stories of so many and I am excited that I am a part of the executive board to expand and share my leadership knowledge with the NSLS WWU chapter.

Major: Computer ScienceÂ
Minor: MathematicsÂ
Hello everyone! 🙂
I am a senior at Western and I love music, the beach, spending quality time with friends/family, and picking up random new hobbies. I joined NSLS because I wanted to try something new and grow my leadership skills. I later joined the NSLS Executive board because I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone and take on some responsibility in the club. Since joining I have gained so much perspective and so many new experiences, and I’m so glad I did it!Â
If you ever see us around, come say hi! We would love to meet you!
