Fine Arts Second Floor Exhibition Cases

This quarter the ART 371 Black and White Photography II class worked on their “Big Heads” project, where they worked in teams to build self-portraits using the basic tenants of studio lighting and portraiture with a 4×5 view camera. This project was designed to embrace analog technology and to allow self-expression through large portraits. Students got to explore the realm of portraiture with this project, and were encouraged to explore identity and how it relates to the image of the self. Then, they blew those images up to be 20 in x 24 in. The exhibition will be up from February 15th to March 5th in the Art Building 2^nd Floor Exhibition space.
