I read about this a week ago or so and was really upset at what a hack job someone would do just for a view. Walking around Boulevard I started thinking about architecture and what a view of the sunset on the water can do for a condo, stacking multiple living areas. There was a group of people looking at a gigantic tree, I hadn’t seen an image of the injured yet so walking to their vantage point and was taken aback. At an accurate height for human infliction, nearly a foot and a half of bark ripping seams fully around the tree like a collar. Read this article to find out more on the story. The tree is located at the north end of the park by the bridge to cross train tracks.
