Labyrinth 2011

Check out the artwork of some awesome classmates and other WWU student and alumni artists in this year’s annual exhibition of Labyrinth, hosted by the VU Gallery and the Women’s Center!

Congrats to 490 students Allison Avery, Alyssa Putnam, Joe Rudko, Laurel Kam, and Teresa Grasseschi for all being featured in the exhibition, and many in the publication as well!

You can pick up your free copy of this year’s Labyrinth, enjoy some poetry and prose, eat free food and mingle with fellow artists, writers, and gallery patrons at the Release Party, this Thursday from 6-8pm in the VU Gallery!

Cooper the Photo Kitty

Cooper is a orange Tabby from Seattle,WA who became a photographer a few years ago when his owners attached a camera to his collar. The camera is lightweight, digital, and takes a snapshot every 2 minutes. His owner’s then upload everything to Flickr.

Cooper has been featured in The Best of Seattle as “Best of The Decade 2010”, People Magazine, Animal Planet’s new show “Must Love Cats”, and has his own book out “Cat Cam: World of Cooper the Photographer Cat”. Check out his website where you can buy photos, too.
