Robbin Lasser

I just discovered Robin lasser and was checking out her website.    http://robinlasser.com/index.html

I am particularly interested in her series Dirty Dining. I like how she chose to present the work in the exhibition as a series of photographs at site specific locations and a sculptural installation. I think this method of presentation would work well for my sculptures.

Nick Veasey

After my fiance gave me some recent dental x-rays, I began to look at artists who use X-Rays as a foundation for their work, and of course Nick Veasey would come up. I haven’t seen his stuff in a while…and although nothing of his is going to literally take the breath out of my lungs, it’s still pretty sweet stuff. Check him out.

Kate Clark

I was talking to someone last night who told me to look this woman up, and she’s amazing!

She combines taxidermy animal with human faces tacked on to their own. It creates this very creepy and surreal effect
