University Studies Abroad Consortium
My study abroad had been through USAC, a program that connects schools with each other, allowing students with a broad choice of countries and schools to choose from. My choice was decided by my major and the language that I wanted to learn for it. Even though I was set on South Korea, I had multiple schools to choose from and could weigh my options before applying.

The site is easy to use and navigate, so choosing a program was very simple. Western also has a USAC advisor who was able to help and answer any questions that I had.
There are other programs to choose from, including Western’s own programs as well as other ones similar to USAC; there is no need to go with USAC, it’s just the one that I went with. Other programs may other countries and schools that USAC doesn’t, so I recommend looking at those as well.
