Conclusion

Looking back at our data we noticed that stress had a negative effect on work performance but, the relationship is really weak so we can almost look over it. But we did find out that stress on a positive effect on work load and the relationship was really strong so we can make an opinion on this. But what does this mean? How can we benefit from this?

Well I think stress will always be a part of our lives, but I think how we control stress should change. Based on our data work load had a positive effect on stress so it should be the primary objective to control. Teachers should interact more with their students always asking questions such as “Are you guys stressed? Is this too much work for you? Is this a good pace for you?” etc. I believe this is important because this will be the best way to decrease work load for students or at least make it bearable for them. Predicting from our data should the teachers find ways to decrease stress then students will be able to bring out better projects, study more, and do more homework and much more. So it is crucial that teachers really communicate with their students. But should students not want to be open about their situation, teachers can use anonymous to gather their information like doing “heads down, hands up,” paper surveys that classmates do individually or even google surveys that the students can complete on their own time.

Although teachers can be main contributors to reducing stress for their students, the students themselves can try to reduce their own stress. Ways they can do this is by relaxing to listening music, exercising, counseling, medicating and many more ways to reduce stress. They can find more ways looking here at Cleveland Clinic or the American Psychological Association.
