There are 68 miniature rooms at the Art Institute of Chicago that range from the 13th century to the 1930’s style. I got a chance to see them last summer. They were amazingly detailed and beautiful!

Beyond Borders 2011 Call for Art
It’s that time of year again! The Viking Union Gallery is soliciting submissions for its final exhibition of the year, “Beyond Borders” an International Fine Art Competition open to all undergraduate students in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Alaska, and British Columbia.
The exhibition is open to all artistic mediums! The art will be chosen by a jury, as will the winners of the competition, who will be awarded with monetary prizes 🙂

One of the titanium plates implanted into NYU Professor Wafaa Bilal’s skull is rejecting. He’s going to have to wear the camera on the back of his neck for the time being.
