So, I went to this high school which turns out kids who are either going to spend the rest of their lives strumming on their acoustic guitars in their mother’s basement or make it big. This girl is most likely going to be the latter. She is a photographer/graphic designer and you should check out her blog. She is pretty talented. Her stuff is more fashion editorial style, so if that’s what you’re into CLICK THIS.
If you consider you consider yourself technically inclined (or want to give it a try) an easy project is to make your own shutter release. All the parts can be bought for less than $10 and it’s pretty simple. I made my own a few summers ago, with a film canister for the housing.

I’ve been following Sam, a photo student from Ireland, on Flickr for a few months and he just came out with this body of work. His latest work is called Trapped on Flickr:
“The aims of the project is to produce a series of portraits that reflects upon the inner-self of the subjects. All of this will fit inside the theme of being trapped and deal with emotions or personalities that people do not show on a public level.”
