Laura Burkhalter is an architect and photographer who is known for her many photos of desolate desert settings. She often frames he lone subjects in the far edges of the frame, creating a very lonely tone.

Marcus Doyle
Marcus Doyle does fantastic photography using a lot of complimentary colors. Through careful shooting and some post processing he utilizes color to differentiate the planes of his photographs.
Rob Carter
Rob Carter takes extremely abstracted Landscape photographs. He uses a combination of focal/motion blur to create painterly images out of landscapes from around the world. I enjoy looking at his images but I wonder how he could create a secondary level of interest beyond the flat, predicable plane of color.

Louise Cook
Louise Cook shoots a ton of subjects, mostly in very vibrant colors. There are a few BW seascapes though that I think are some of her strongest works. Unfortunately her images are unlinkable, but here is a link to one of the images I’m referring to!

John A. Ryan
John A. Ryan is a landscape photographer who has never particularity impressed me, with the exception of this image:
I just love how the posts seem to be consulting with one another, a lot of personality for a nighttime landscape/seascape.
Holga with color film
It has definitely been an interesting experience working with the Holga and I would really like to explore it more, especially with color film. I was just browsing the web and I really like some of the images I found.

Annette Messager does some really interesting work using photographs in installation art. Here is one of my favorites:
I also like her more whimsical installations with children’s toys and inflatables.

This was an artist that I came across when I was looking at blogs in the internet. I actually should have post it sooner, but I forgot his name and had to research it now! Anyways, he does extreme angles and shots to get a reaction out of people. And most of the time they’re quite humorous.
