Working with the view camera has been a whole new experience for me that has definitely proved to be challenging. I’m looking forward to having waaay more time in the future to get to know the camera better after the project is done. Anywho I’ve also been using my Holga more after 290 and its rather refreshing to be able to just CLICK THE SHUTTER and thats IT! Here’s a couple that I scanned in today (second is a double exposure of Jasmine!)

These were taken digitally about a year or two ago, near a park in central Maryland.
Fascinating how quickly old things can fall into ruin, and how quickly nature can take back from human civilization.
When we found what was very likely to be a Confessional Booth, we had a very good clue what the ruins used to be- some kind of Catholic Institution; a school, abbey, or church.

I recently found some old print I had scanned back in High School. It’s pretty interesting/weird to look back through old work.
This is a photo of my little sister. It’s actually a tiny section of the original print. I ended up playing around in the darkroom, using cropping, enlarging and moving the negative holder around to get the desired image. Later I scanned it and touched it up a little in photoshop.
This was taken at St. James Cathedral in Seattle in between Capital Hill and Downtown.
