2024

This page archives QueerCon 2024’s main events pages. This year, we continued the “After Hours 18+” section with drag show and special events after the all-ages main convention hours ended. This was our biggest event to date!

QueerCon 2024: Saturday, April 27 2024

In 2024, QueerCon was an in-person event with hybrid streamed in-person panelists and talks. We also had performances, game rooms, film, and drag show components. The event was held on April 27th, 2024 in the Academic West building.

From 12 – 5 pm, the all-ages Main Convention Hours included Tabling for vendors, artists, creators, and non-profits included nearly a hundred in-person vendor and organization tables, sparkle photobooth, two food carts, and dozens of in-person and virtual special events, presentations and workshops during the all-ages general convention hours from 12 – 5 pm.

From 5 – 8pm, in-person QueerCon 18+ After-Hours events included a planetarium show, queer horror documentary, queer open mic and poetry reading, and drag show, all held in-person.
