Karluv Most at Sunrise, by: Austin Smith
Karluv Most (Charles Bridge) was built in 1357 and connects Prague Castle with the Old Town center. Every time I would go to shoot photos there it would be filled with so many tourists and street performers I couldn’t get a good shot. Eventually, I forced myself to wake up at 5:00 AM to go photograph it and had such a good time I ended up going two more times with friends. The bridge was practically empty except for a few other photographers and a couple getting their engagement photos taken. I had to be somewhat sneaky while shooting photos of them so I couldn’t really get the shot I wanted, but the memory is what matters most.
